HOW TO APPLY
Applicants must complete the Local Education Authority (LA) “Common Application Form” (CAF). The CAF allows you to nominate up to six schools in order of preference.
Failure to complete and return both the Common Admissions Form and the Supplementary Information Form by the closing date may affect the priority accorded to your application by the Governing Body. The supplementary form should be returned directly to the school office together with the child’s birth, baptismal certificate and 2 proof of address.
If you are applying to another Catholic school you will be required to complete a set of supplementary papers for each Catholic school.
The Governing Body
The Governing Body will consider all applications for admission to the school in accordance with this Admissions Policy and Oversubscription Criteria
Applying to Nursery
We have an onsite nursery which is open during school hours and is term time only. We offer a variety of session times:
- 15 hr morning sessions (8:50am-11:50am)
- 15 hr afternoon sessions (12:20pm -3:20pm)
- 30 hr places offering full days (8:50am – 3:20pm
Funding 30-hour places – Working parents may be entitled to a further 15 hours/week of childcare (30 hours/Extended Entitlement). To check if you are eligible, please see the link below:
The extended funding does not cover childcare over the lunch break. This will be charged at £5/day. Lunch is not provided, the children bring a packed lunch.
Parents who are not eligible for Extended Funding have the option to pay for the extra 15 hours @ £10/hour + £5 for lunchtime = £35 a day.
Applying to Reception – September 2026
The Governing Body intends to admit no more than a total of 60 pupils into its Reception Classes in any school year. Parents should be aware that the school regularly receives more applications than the number of places available and that the submission of an application does not guarantee the offer of a place at the school.
- An online application through your local authority’s admissions website https://eadmissions.org.uk/
- Our school’s Supplementary Information Form (SIF), which provides the Governing Body with the necessary information to apply our admissions criteria, especially in cases where the number of applications exceeds available places. Please ensure that the completed SIF, along with any supporting documents, is returned directly to the school—either in person or by post—by Thursday 15th January 2026.
If you do not submit both the online application and the SIF by this date, we will be unable to consider your application under our oversubscription criteria. In such cases, your child may be ranked under the lowest admissions category, and it is unlikely a place will be offered.
